Concluding Remark
The education system in Indonesia still shows characteristics of a rigid centralism, with a very strong dominance of bureaucracy. Our education system today is still closed so also fosters the practices of corruption and collusion. Meanwhile, there is a thesis that education can provide a foundation for the noble values of the political, economic, social, law and culture so as to achieve a new value system that is open, dynamic, and democratic.
In the short term education means classroom teaching and learning process; in the medium term education means students complete the development of the subject, and in the long term education is a cultural phenomenon involving moral values, aesthetic and cultural. Tilaar (1999:22) states that the education reform agenda should include: (1) Erosion of corruption, collusion, nepotism and cronyism, (2) Implement the principles of professionalism, (3) Decentralization of educational management and curriculum content., (4) Improving the quality of education basic and compulsory 9 years; Improving the quality of general secondary and vocational schools, (6) Improving the quality and autonomy of higher education, (7) Development of alternative education; (8) Improving the quality of the teaching profession; (9) Financing of democratic education; (10) regulation and legislation; (11) Empowerment of the subject students. "Clean educational system" needs to be developed from the central to local levels.
The lowest value of mathematics is that if it only own use, a higher value if it can be used for public interest. But the highest value is if it can be used systemically for wider interest. Nevertheless there are still other values are related to levels of quality. In the first quality the value of mathematics is only visible on the outside, but on the quality of the second and third and so on the value of mathematics is metaphysical. With analog thinking then what happens to the disclosure of the value of mathematics can be used also in the disclosure of the noble values of the nation. Nation can be achieved lofty values returned by the method of translating and translated from the context of the passage of time past, present, and future.
